Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Stormwater game ("Stormwater", "the game") for iPhone, iPad and Android handles information. Stormwater is published by SELLTICKETS Ltd ("we", "us"), United Kingdom, under the somegame brand.

The short version

We don't ask for your name, email or any account. Your game progress stays on your device. The game shows adverts from Unity Ads, and Unity collects some device and usage information to show and measure those adverts.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or any account details. There is no sign-in.

Information stored on your device

Your progress (levels completed, stars, settings and tools) is saved only on your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the game deletes it.

Downloading new cities

When you are online, the game downloads new levels from our content server, which is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web request, this reveals your IP address and basic device information (such as the app version) to the server for the time needed to deliver the files and to protect the service. We do not use this to identify you and we do not build profiles.

Adverts (Unity Ads)

Stormwater shows adverts provided by Unity Ads, a service of Unity Technologies. To show adverts, limit how often you see the same one, prevent fraud and measure results, Unity collects information such as your device type and operating system, IP address (used to estimate an approximate location), advertising identifier where permitted, and how you interact with the adverts. On iPhone and iPad, the game does not ask to track you across other companies' apps; adverts are shown without the IDFA advertising identifier unless you have allowed tracking. Unity's handling of this data is described in the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy, which also explains how to opt out of personalised adverts.

You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings: on iPhone, Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; on Android, Settings › Privacy › Ads.

Children

Stormwater is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we don't hold personal information about you, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For data held by Unity for advertising, use the options in Unity's privacy policy. If you are in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
